THE SUNBATHER STORY

Sunbather started as a tiny shanty filled with things I loved — worn-in vintage, old textiles, handmade pieces, and objects with a little life already behind them.

Over time, the shanty became a place for making things, too. Paintings started leaning against the walls. Old surfboards became canvases. Sketches turned into prints, apparel, and eventually design work for other people and places.

Today, Sunbather lives somewhere between a shop, an artist's studio, and a collection of things found along the way. Some pieces are old, some are made by hand, and some begin as nothing more than an idea scribbled down somewhere.

It's always evolving — but the idea behind it stays pretty simple: make things with soul, collect things worth keeping, and leave a little room for the unexpected.
